Spin & Win Your Seat in a PokerStars High Roller Event

Last week, PokerStars announced a special tournament series for High Rollers from Sunday 18th March. Today the site has released details of a Spin & Go promotion in which players can win cash prizes, satellite tickets, and seats directly into the High Roller events – including the $2 million guaranteed Main Event.
The special tournament series for High Rollers is similar to the one hosted by PokerStars last November/December. It consists of twenty-seven events over nine days, with buy-ins starting at $530 and going all the way up to $10,300. In total, the series is guaranteed for $10 million, with two of the events having million dollar guarantees and the Main Event carrying a $2 million guarantee.
Registration for the tournaments is already open, and a satellite schedule should be released in the next couple of days. While waiting for the satellite schedule to go live, players can play special $25 buy-in Spin & Go games in which they can win cash prizes, satellite tickets, and seats directly into the High Roller events – including the $2 million guaranteed High Rollers Main Event.
The High Rollers Tournament Schedule
The High Rollers tournament schedule can be found under the “Events” tab of the PokerStars client, and the events are already being populated by tax-avoiding players from Greece. (Players from Greece have tax deducted from daily winnings over €100, so after a profitable session they register early for valuable events and then unregister before the event takes place).
Although dominated by No Limit Texas Hold´em tournaments that take place over two days, there is enough variety in the schedule to please High Rollers with a taste for novelty events. Of the eight progressive knockout tournaments, one is a PL Omaha events, while another is a 4-Max Zoom Poker tournaments with a hyper-turbo structure.
There are three more hyper-turbo events, three more PL Omaha events, a NLHE/PLO mixed poker event and a two-day 8-Game event that breaks for its second day when only six players remain. The tournaments with the most valuable guarantees are:
- #7 Tuesday 20th March @ 2:00pm (ET). $10,300 buy-in NLHE tournament guaranteed for $1 million.
- #13 Thursday 22nd March @ 2:00pm (ET). $10,300 buy-in progressive knockout NLHE event with bounties starting at $2,500.
- #23 Sunday 25th March @ 1:00pm (ET). $2,100 buy-in NLHE Main Event guaranteed for $2 million.
Please note that PokerStars´ servers operate on Eastern Time which changes this coming Sunday 11th March to Daylight Saving Time (clocks go forward one hour). The clocks do not go forward in the UK and Europe until Sunday 25th March, so players should be aware that the majority of event in the High Roller series will start one hour earlier than they are used to.
How to Spin & Win Your Seat
When you click on the Spin & Go tab of the PokerStars client, you will now see a new Spin & Go game in the No Limit Texas Hold´em sub-lobby. This game has a $25.00 buy-in and awards the following prizes:

According to the terms and conditions of the promotion, the first Main Event seat won in a special Spin & Go game must be used to play in the Main Event. Subsequent (!) Main Event tickets won in the promotion can be exchanged for tournament dollars. The satellite tickets can be used to play in any non-High Rollers satellites after 27th March.
