Party Poker Giving Away Seats to Title Fight Tournament

Title Fight at Party PokerParty Poker is giving away hundreds of seats and satellite tickets for its feature Title Fight event in a new promotion for low stakes cash game players.

If you ever wanted to be a contender in Party Poker´s Title Fight tournament, but never had the bankroll to support the $215.00 buy-in, now is the time to hit the cash game tables at Party Poker. For a limited time only, Party Poker is hosting a unique leaderboard competition that gives away seats and satellite tickets worth tens of thousands of dollars to low stakes players.

In order to take part in the promotion, opt into the Cash Game Your Way to the Title Fight promotion on the Party Poker website or via the Party Poker client, and then start earning Party Points at the cash game tables. However, as this is a promotion targeted towards low stakes players, only points earned on cash tables up to a maximum stake limit of $0.25/$0.50 will count towards the promotion.

How the New Title Fight Promotion Works

The Party Points you earn for contributing to the rake deducted from cash game pots on qualifying tables will be added to a leaderboard hosted on the Party Poker website. The leaderboard competition runs from Saturday (00:00am CET) to Friday (23:59pm CET) until 31st March and, at the end of each week, the top fifteen players on the leaderboard will each be awarded a seat in the Title Fight event. The next 135 players will each be awarded a $22.00 satellite ticket to try their luck in a qualifying event.

The qualifying tables are those running games of NL Hold´em, FL Hold´em, PL Hold´em and PL Omaha with stakes of $0.25/$0.50 or less. Points earned on Party Poker´s fast-fold “Fast Forward” tables do not count towards the promotion, nor do points earned in heads-up games. It is important for players to opt into the promotion each week of the competition, and please note that the prizes are only valid for seven days (satellite tickets) and fourteen days (direct entries into the Title Fight event).

How to Use Title Fight Satellite Tickets

There are various Title Fight satellites running throughout the week at Party Poker, but the ones players should be aiming for with their free $22.00 satellite entry tickets are those running Monday to Saturday at 2:00am (CET) and 6:00pm (CET). Both these satellites guarantee a minimum of five seats in the target event plus additional seats for every $215.00 in the prize pool above the $1,075 guarantee. There is also a $22.00 buy-in satellite on Sundays at 2:00am (CET), also guaranteeing five seats to the target event.

Players who qualify for the Title Fight event need to be prepared for a long haul. The tournament starts at 8:00pm (CET) each Sunday evening and typically lasts between ten and twelve hours. Late registration is open for twelve levels (three hours), during which time it is possible for players to re-enter twice. You can reduce the time it takes to finish the tournament by making a deal at the final table, by which time you will be assured of a pretty healthy return for the hours you put in at the cash game tables.

New Promotion Should Help Grow Guaranteed Prize Pool

In February, Party Poker announced it would add $25,000 to the guaranteed prize pool for the Title Fight event each week the guarantee was met. So far this has only happened once, and currently the guarantee stands at $325,000. However, last Sunday, the tournament failed to meet its guarantee by just five entries. With the extra players taking part in the Title Fight event due to the new leaderboard competition, it is more than likely the guarantee will be increased to $350,000 in the coming weeks.

When the promotion ends at the end of March, the guarantee will stay at $350,000 (or higher), offering players entering the tournament the chance of a significant overlay. If you would like to benefit from this opportunity – and win your seat in the Title Fight event for free – head on over to Party Poker and don´t forget to opt in to the “Cash Game Your Way to the Title Fight” promotion.
