Party Poker Bad Beat Promo Awards $1,050 Satty Ticket Daily

Posted on by Roy Smith

Bad BeatA new Bad Beat promotion at Party Poker doesn’t pay out a jackpot in the traditional sense, but could be worth over $1 million if you play your cards right.

That’s because a Bad Beat – losing a hand with four of a kind – could put you in a $1,050 MILLIONS Online satellite seat. Party Poker is prepared to award such a ticket every day to the player who suffers the worst Bad Beat.

The $1,050 MILLIONS Online satellite will send winners to the $10,300 buy-in Party Poker $20 million GTD MILLIONS Online to be held in December. Last year, the event made millionaires out of the top four finishers when the prize pool almost hit $22 million and many expect this year to follow suit.

Limited Time to Bad Beat Promo

Party Poker announced its new Bad Beat promo will run for the duration of the current POWERFEST series that’s going on right now and will continue up to and including August 11. POWERFEST is set to pay out more than $28 million in guaranteed prize money.

The Bad Beat promo is in play for not only the POWERFEST tournaments, but for all games played on the poker site that include cash games, satellites and SPINS. Any and all game types such as Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Hold’em apply as well.

Bad Beat Requirements

In order to be eligible to win the $1,050 MILLIONS Online satellite ticket, you first must lose a hand while making four of a kind – or better. Following your unfortunate Bad Beat, take a screenshot and tweet it at the official Party Poker Twitter account, making sure to include the hashtags of #BadBeat and #MILLIONSOnline.

Party Poker’s social media experts will peruse the entries received each day from 00:00 CEST to 23:59 CEST. The worst Bad Beat submitted each day, as determined by the traditional ranking of hands, will win the $1,050 MILLIONS Online satellite seat – with winners announced via Twitter.

Players are advised not to worry if you’re not quick enough in taking a screenshot. You can always get it from the hand replayer, or from MyGame if the Bad Beat occurred in a cash game.

Unavoidable Bad Beats

Bad Beats are very frustrating for poker players. Getting your money or chips in the pot when you’re favored to win and then watching your underdog opponent get a lucky card on the turn or river to beat you can make you want to pull your hair out.

It’s part of the game of poker to sometimes lose in such a fashion. Just keep in mind that getting it in good when the percentages are in your favor will be profitable in the long run.

At least those players who lose with quads at Party Poker can take solace in the fact that it could end up being very worthwhile by winning a $1,050 MILLIONS Online satellite ticket with a shot at earning a seat to the $20 million GTD event. A deep run in that tournament could be worth millions of dollars!
