Ladbrokes Poker is hosting an exclusive Christmas Cash Race promotion over the festive season, giving players the chance to win cash and cash game tickets.
If you are playing at Ladbrokes Poker this Christmas and New Year, make sure you opt into the site´s Christmas Cash Race promotion. The promotion runs from Tuesdays to Mondays (so the next one starts tomorrow), and rewards the players who have collected the most Ladbrokes Points within a week.
There are three bands of competition – allowing players of all bankroll levels to get involved in the promotion – and more than £5,000 to be won over the next two weeks (20th December to 26th December, and 27th December to 2nd January). How the Christmas Cash Race Promotion Works
Whenever you contribute towards the rake deducted from cash games at Ladbrokes Poker, you are awarded Ladbrokes Points. Points are awarded at the rate of 16 per £1.00 raked, 14 per €1.00 raked, or 10 per $1.00 raked, and during the promotion the points earned playing cash games (excluding heads-up games) will be added to a leaderboard.
There are three different leaderboard competitions running during the promotion:
- Low – for players playing between 0.01/0.02 and 0.05/0.10 stake levels.
- Medium – for players playing between 0.10/0.20 and 0.50/1.00 stake levels.
- High – for players playing at 1.00/2.00 stake levels and above.
You can play in one, two, or all three leaderboard competitions, with the top fifty players in the Low and Medium competitions sharing £500 and £750 respectively. Only the top thirty players in the High competition will be rewarded for their efforts, but the prizes are much more valuable:

What are Ladbrokes Cash Game Tickets?
Prizes will be awarded within 72 hours of each competition closing, and you can monitor your progress via the Ladbrokes website. If you win a cash game ticket, you have to use it within 30 days or it will expire. For players unfamiliar with Ladbrokes cash game tickets, here is how they work.
Whenever you win a cash game ticket the value is added to your account balance. It can be used to buy into cash games instead of cash, and any money you make above the value of the cash game ticket is added to your real money balance. So, for example:
- If you were to win a £10.00 cash game ticket, you could buy-into a £0.10/£0.20 table for £6.00 and the value of your cash game ticket would be reduced to £4.00.
- If you finished your session with £12.00 in front of you, the first £6.00 would go back onto the cash game ticket, and the remaining £6.00 would be added to your real money balance.
Your cash game ticket is converted into cash once you have collected a predetermined number of Ladbrokes Points. These vary according to the value of the ticket and will be displayed in the Player admin section of the Ladbrokes Poker client.
