Following the success of its NFL-themed rake race, BetOnline Poker is running a Super Bowl themed promotion with thousands of dollars up for grabs.
It´s almost time for Super Bowl 50, and BetOnline Poker is celebrating in style with a cash game promotion that everybody can take part in. All players have to do is visit BetOnline´s NL Texas Hold´em tables on specific days and lose a pot with a Jack-high Flush or better, or win a pot with Four-of-a-Kind or a Royal Flush.
If you are going to lose a pot with a Jack-high Flush or better, Mondays are the day to do it. BetOnline Poker will pay ten times the Big Blind (up to $100) to any player unlucky enough to suffer a bad beat. Thursdays are the day to win a pot with Four-of-a-Kind, as that is the day that BetOnline Poker will top the player´s bankroll up with another ten times the big blind (also up to $100).
On Sundays – up to and including Super Bowl Sunday – players who take down a pot with a Royal Flush will win twenty times the Big Blind (up to $200) and, on Super Bowl Sunday itself, all three promotions will be running on the same day – enabling players to pick up bonus cash for a bad beat, Four-of-a-Kind or a Royal Flush.
Conditions Apply to Qualifying Hands
Naturally there are terms and conditions that have to be fulfilled before BetOnline Poker hands out its cash. In all three parts of the Super Bowl 50 promotion, both hole cards must be used in the winning hand, there has to be at least four players dealt into the hand (so heads-up games do not count), the hands must be played at BetOnline Poker´s cash tables, and the hand must go to showdown.
In order to claim the prize, players have to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Super Bowl” appearing as the subject of the email, and the hand number and player´s username in the body of the email. BetOnline´s customer support will double-check that the hand qualifies for a prize and the funds will be credited into players´ accounts within twenty-four hours.
There is no limit to how many prizes a player can claim, so very lucky players (and some very unlucky players) could collect thousands of dollars during the promotional period. There is also no requirement to play at a certain stake, or play a certain number of hands to claim the prizes. Consequently players of all bankrolls have the opportunity to cash in the promotion – even if they only play recreationally.
BetOnline Bumps Up Weekend Tournament Guarantees
BetOnline Poker is not one of the first sites you think of for big weekend poker tournaments, but the value of prizes on offer is gradually increasing. The site now hosts eight weekend “feature” tournaments – four on Saturday and four on Sunday – with combined guarantees of $80,000.
The tournaments take place at 12:00pm ($5,000 turbo), 4:00pm ($10,000), 7:00pm ($15,000) and $10:00pm ($10,000 turbo) with buy-ins ranging from $11.00 to $33.00. All of the events have re-buys for the first hour and the option of an add-on when the re-buy period has finished, but players should note that there is no late registration in any of these events and make sure they take their seats on time (all times are ET).
What Else is Happening at BetOnline?
Possibly the best thing to happen at BetOnline for a long time is the restructuring of the first deposit bonus. Rather than being released in one go, the BetOnline Poker bonus is now released in increments as certain milestones are reached. The increments are weighted so that it is easier to clear the first stages of the bonus – enabling players with limited time to spend at the tables to pick up some of the site´s special offer for opening an online poker account.
The bonus amount has also been increased from $2,000 to $2,500 (you have to use the BetOnline Poker promo code “VIP1000” and email email@example.com to have this special offer assigned to an account) and, in addition to the amount of the bonus being extended, the time available to clear it has also been increased to 120 days.
Further information about the revised poker bonus and other details about this growing site can be found in our review of BetOnline Poker. Alternatively, you can visit the site straightaway to start collecting the hands you will need to profit in BetOnline´s Super Bowl 50 promotion.
