Entry fees are as low as $1 for the online poker festival, with free qualifiers available as well.

No tickets are required for the free ChampionChips Qualifier Tournaments that have been running every day since August 25 and will continue through September 1. There are three free qualifiers daily at 12:05, 18:35 and 22:35 GMT, with each awarding 50 seats to a specific ChampionChips Series Tournament.

Eligibility Checklist

To be eligible to participate in the Qualifier Tournaments, players must have made at least one real money deposit at 888 Poker. If you’re a new player and have not yet played at 888 Poker, this would be an opportune time to make that initial deposit and take advantage of the free qualifiers that will award 150 seats every day.

In addition to the free qualifiers, 1ยข satellites are also available, making the series more accessible than ever. To check out all the tournaments associated with the ChampionChips Series, players are advised to go to the lobby and click on “Tournaments,” followed by a click on the “ChampionChips” tab.

Action Begins September 2

There you will find that Event #1, the Opening Ceremony tournament on Sept. 2, is a 6-Max with a buy-in of $5.50 that guarantees $5,000 in prize money and kicks off at 14:00. The first day of ChampionChips action continues with Event #2, a $25,000 Half Marathon that costs $16.50 to enter, while Event #3 features just a $1 buy-in for a $1,500 prize pool in a turbo tournament entitled Race Track.

Players looking for value will likely find it in all 18 of the tournaments on the ChampionChips schedule. That includes the $33 Main Event that gets underway on Sept. 9 at 18:30 and is accompanied by a $50,000 guarantee. Two more tournaments will be played following the Main Event on the last day of the series, a $2,000 GTD turbo for $3 at 19:30, and the $2,000 Sprint, a super turbo with a $5 buy-in at 21:00.
